Happy Alter



Happy Alter is the CEO of Bob’s Barricades, the largest privately owned barricade company in the United States and one of the largest in the world. The business titan said his parents named him 'Happy' because he was smiling even when he was in his crib. Happy Alter and his partner Alan Chesler have owned Bob's Barricades for more than 40 years.

Happy is also a legendary horse trainer. He broke the world record in Canada at Woodbine with his horse, Frosty the Snowman. Notably, Happy Alter has a close friendship Mohammad Ali. Happy knew Ali when Ali was still Cassius Clay and say he and The Champ would often just hang out.
