Kathryn Chesler

Finding strong women in any family tree isn't difficult.

Kathryn Chesler is a major supporter of diabetes research and spends much of her time fundraising for the cause. She is friends with Sonja Zuckerman and Sandra Levy, the organizers of Miami’s grandest black-tie affair, “The Love and Hope Ball.”

By her side for 20+years was her partner, Steven Posner, a corporate raider in the US who also had strong ties to George Perez, Barry Gibbs of the Bee Gees and Nelson Pelts. Steven passed away in a tragic boating accident, leaving a lasting impact on Kathryn and her son, Adam Arviv and his family. Coincidentally, Steven’s own father, Victor Posner, had a close relationship with Lou Chesler, who was Kathryn’s father.
